High Plains Open GT

The High Plains Open GT is a competitive Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament featuring three rounds of play using the 25-26 Tournament mission pool. Players can expect high-quality mats, and a well-run event focused on competitive integrity and sportsmanship.

In addition to the main GT, the event will also feature a painting contest, giving players the chance to showcase their armies and be recognized.

Food will be provided on-site by Badger Central Bookstore & Café.

Event Schedule:

• Venue Open: 9:00 am

• Check-in: 9:00 am

• First Round: 10:00 am

• Rounds Duration: 3 hours

Painting Requirement:

• 100% of your force (2000 points) must be painted to earn Battle Ready points.

• All players will start with the base 10 battle points if requirement is met.

• Heavily converted models, alternative 3D-printed models, and placeholder models must be pre-approved by the Tournament Organizer (TO) before the list submission deadline.

Painting Competition:

• A painting competition will be held alongside the GT.

Food & Amenities:

• Food will be provided on-site by Badger Cafe with a special Warhammer themed menu.

Odd Number of Players:

• A bye player will be randomly chosen and will receive a 70 point win.

• The bye player may choose to play a ringer.

Prizes:

• First Place: Trophy and top prize

• Second Place: Trophy and prize

• Third Place: Trophy and prize
